Can't wait

Well I was going to try and wait 3 years before I even start the adopting process but I have changed my mind. I can't wait that long! I have decided that I will see if I get a raise or promotion at work in April and then I will go from there. I love reading all the other blogs everyday and seeing everyone else's babies (like Lucy Lane) only makes me want my baby now! Only time will tell.......

Scrapbooking items for sale

If anyone is interested in any of these scrapbooking items just let me know! I also have scrapbooking adoption quotes and picture holders that I will post later.

Counting down....

Well I officially decided to wait until I'm 30 to start the adoption process. That gives me a little over 3 years to save as much money as I can! I know I can't start the process until then because I don't have the money for the actual adoption and right now I wouldn't be able to even afford daycare. So I am hoping that in three years I can afford daycare and I can start the adoption process. If I came up with the money before I'm 30 then I will totally start the process right away! Hopefully when I do decide to start the process there will still be agencies open that allow singles to adopt from Ethiopia! Until then I will have to shower my two furry babies with all my love and attention.

Roxie and Lucy can't wait until baby comes home....

then they will be left alone!

Roxie's first Halloween!
Doesn't she look thrilled!

Scrapbooking items

Well I don't know if anyone actually reads this blog but if you do then I need your opinion! My mom and I are going to an Ethiopian culture camp in Ohio to sell a few things. What do you think of these scrapbooking items? Would you ever buy something like this? Do you have any other suggestions of what else we could make? Thanks and your input is greatly appreciated!

Sign this petition....

Please help and sign this petition. Here is a little info about the situation. Thanks for your help!

For those of us who have bought houses for the first time before January 1, 2009 a tax credit was issued. This tax credit was 10% of the purchase price up to $7500. This credit is to be repaid over 15 years in increments of $500 a year starting in 2010. On February 17, 2008 President Obama signed a stimulus package that will allow first-time home buyers to receive a tax credit. The tax credit will be 10% of the purchase price of the home, purchased after January 1, 2009, up to $8000. This money does not have to be repaid. I believe those people who bought houses, in a time of great trouble for the USA, should be rewarded for their trust in the market before the new stimulus bill was passed. I believe those first-time home buyers who purchased their home between January 1, 2008 and December 31, 2008 should be allowed to keep the tax rebate that has been or will be issued in their 2008 taxes.

I would love to take this money and put it towards my adoption fund but I don't want to do that if I have to pay the money back. I really wish they would pass something before I have to start paying it back.
