I'm watching that new show The Voice and I love what Carson Daly just said... There was a guy on the show who is African American and his parents are white. Carson went up to them and said I love this family and then he said this is the new American family! I can't help but totally agree with him!!

I just wanted to share this link with anyone that might actually read this blog.  A friend from work makes these adorable pumpkins made out of fabric and I just wanted to share them with everyone.  Not only are they super cute but you can leave them sitting out all fall since they aren't specific to one holiday!  Well I just wanted to share and to tell you to go check out those adorable pumpkins!

To help me raise some money for my adoption I decided a few months back to start selling Tastefully Simple. If you have never tried anything from Tastefully Simple I would recommend 3 things:

1. Beer Bread - all you need is a can of beer (#1 seller!)
2. For the Love of Cookies: Chocolate Chip Toffee Almond Cookie Mix - I just recently made these and they were so quick and simple, only half a stick of butter and an egg. Plus they taste homemade!
3. Nana's Apple Cake Mix - just add apples and eggs. This cake is so moist and tastes great warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top!

Can't wait

Well I was going to try and wait 3 years before I even start the adopting process but I have changed my mind. I can't wait that long! I have decided that I will see if I get a raise or promotion at work in April and then I will go from there. I love reading all the other blogs everyday and seeing everyone else's babies (like Lucy Lane) only makes me want my baby now! Only time will tell.......
